Getting Busy and Working Hard!

If you've been around my website for any length of time, you'll see that I have a pretty decent studio and if you've been in my studio, you'll see that work and output has been pretty regular lately. The last month or so I've managed to do more than a few sessions earning me quite a bit of money in such a short amount of time, I'm quite impressed with myself. I love all the people I've worked with the last 30 days, it's been an absolute blast and I look forward to working with plenty more!

These last 30 days I've worked harder and had more projects than I've had in any other month in the last two years. I've had more than a couple of different styles come through and from what everyone has said they've enjoyed the work I've done with them and I've had more than a few repeat clients. So there's that. I also have a couple of other updates that I want to talk about in this post to kind of give an update of what else is happening in the studio and around the studio.

Had to Get a Job, No Way Around It.

Okay, so I had to get a full-time job there was just no way around it, I have some extra bills I've got to take care and get my cats health back in order. One of my fur babies is a little underweight, enough to be concerning, so once I start this job, one of the first things I'll be doing is getting all 3 of the kitties to the vet. Get them looked at, shot up, and healthy, but first gotta get pet insurance, not going to be cheap, but it's going to be worth it. Also had to start working on making this house what I want it to be, doing some renovations, new floors, new paint, new trim, repairing holes, making my house just look and feel like a home that I want it to be. Going to be getting a uniform color going around the house and paint my studio a different palette to make it more inviting and not look as trashy. I plan to also get a new studio desk with some rack space, so that way my gear is more at my finger tips. Also gotta get some money saved up to both get another car with a back seat as well as save up some emergency expenses.

What Does the Future Hold?

...Right now? I don't know 100% for sure... I picked up a course with my roommate on getting music heard and actually gaining fans rather than just an audience. Damian Keyes is the guy's name, and I've watched more than a few videos of his on YouTube and he seems to know what he's talking about so for $20/a month I don't see anything wrong with learning more and hopefully implementing and actually becoming more successful, not just as a studio guy, but also as an artist in my own right. I do make my own music from time to time, so I'm thinking why not try to get the most out of it that I can!

Anyway, that's a little bit about what's been going around the shop here. Working my ass off in my studio as well as getting a regular job to supplement my studio income for at least awhile. We will see what magic awaits me, my family, and my clients this year! I plan to make the last 6 months of this year my best in a long time, We will see what happens! Deuces!
